lifesong
Everyone needs compassion
And love that never fails
Let mercy fall on me
When everyone needs forgiveness
Kindness of the Saviour
The Hope of the nation
Saviour, He can move the mountains
My God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save
Forever author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave
So take me as you find me
All my fears and failures
Fill my life again
I give my life to follow
Everything that i believe in
Now i surrender
Shine a light in and
let the whole world see
Singing, for the glory of the risen king
Jesus, Shine a light and
let the whole world see
Singing for the glory of the risen king

heyy heyy...
If there's one thing the holidays made me learn...it would be the importance of time. Indeed, time is spinning around...it is not lagging, it is at FULL speed! And it is never wearied! But you know something...we get wearied.
I think you have heard, from time to time, so and so has been
chasing after time...why does a person have to do so? Because he feels time has never pause for him. And we all have felt like that, at one time or another yea? We have so much things to do, and so little time
left. But God's purpose in our lives is not to chase after time. But to pursue an altogether different thing. And that is His presence. People chase after time to avoid regrets (If only I had used more time to study...to build more friendships...to sharpen my gifts and talents...If only...I had caught up with time) But the bible tells us that if we want to live life without regrets- then we have got to learn to pursue instead His presence.
Listen to Jesus. He said, "Do not worry about tomorrow...the birds of the air neither sow nor reap or gather in barns, but my heavenly father provides for them..." What was he saying here? Is he asking us not to plan...not to sow into our future?
NO! He IS implying that even when we do sow- into our studies, our relationships ,our health, our ministry- we should not
worry about the outcome. Have you ever sowed into one of these areas and then worried if that seed you sowed (be it time, expenses, energy etc) would be exactly the right proportion or right mix for success in that area? Jesus is saying to you, DON'T! Because, no one can truly know- trust the father to provide the best!
Then he says that no one by "worrying adds a single hour to his life" - there's no point "backtracking" to the past to dig up possibilities of what you
could have done...DON'T! Bury those possibilities...they are gone. And let the past, or should I say, let TIME that you have allowed to pass go. No point worrying about what you could have done with it anymore.
Yes! We all reap what we sow. Sow a good sead, reap a good harvest. Sow a bad seed, reap a poor harvest! Let's PLAN and SOW WISELY into our studies, relationships, health, ministry- and most importantly our relationship with God! But let's never forget that the success of these is in the Hands of the our loving father...whom we can trust...and He also holds all TIME in His hands. What have you regretted doing, or not doing? Surrender the past- and be amazed by How he makes ALL things work for your good!
Believe in you,
Benedict
