Here's my sharing for the past two days!
Mark 1:21-34
Verse 22: People were amazed at Jesus' authority, not just the law and and what he said...
I guess essentially we can read the Word and be up to our heads with knowledge and facts, like every other student in school who studies hard, but ultimately what will set us apart is the God-given authority that we show others through our speech and actions.
In the same way Jesus stood out from the religious teachers because he didn't just regurgitate facts and knowledge; but he exercised His Godly authority and His annointed words just really blessed people in such a great way.
In the same way when we talk to others about our faith, are we going to just present mere facts or are we going to really own our faith and use that God-given authority to present the gospel in all its entirety to the masses? Let's pray for God's empowering to utilise the Word with His authority to bless others!
Mark 1:35-45
Verse 35-39: what's interesting is that Jesus prayed before the day began. Before the exciting miracles, the cool stuff, beginning His work for the day, he found a quiet corner to pray. So before we rush headlong into things, being busy in the world, let's learn to seek God in a time of prayer and be filled with His spirit before we begin!

I learned that Jesus has authority in everything, be it teaching or driving out the evil spirits. and about the healing, Jesus can do miracles :D
